Mark A. Milano graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 1982 and graduated tenth in his class from University of Connecticut School of Law.  He was selected by Associate Justice Angelo G. Santaniello to serve as law clerk at the Connecticut Supreme Court.  Attorney Milano was appointed by Federal District Court Judge Janet Bond Arterton to serve as a Special Master for the District of Connecticut.  His practice is focused on cases involving commercial and personal insurance coverage disputes, products liability, contractual law, automobile negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, municipal liability, toxic torts, construction, subrogation and employment law.  Attorney Milano is a Board-Certified Trial Attorney in Civil Trial Advocacy the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He was recertified in 2004 and 2009.  Attorney Milano has tried dozens of jury cases to verdict, in addition to participating in numerous arbitrations, both as an advocate and arbitrator.  Attorney Milano has also appeared before the Connecticut Supreme Court, the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and regularly participates in seminars regarding litigation issues.  Attorney Milano served as Counsel to the West Haven Redevelopment Agency from 1992 to 2004.  Attorney Milano is a member of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the Tort and Insurance Practice section of the American Bar Association.  Attorney Milano is admitted to practice in the Connecticut State Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is a past President of the University of Connecticut School of Law Alumni Association.  He is a past Chairperson and member of the Board of Directors for Notre Dame High School of West Haven.  Attorney Milano has been selected by a peer review process as a Top Attorney in New England by New England Super Lawyers Magazine.
